Summary: A tale of 2 parts. The pool area is compact but comfortable, pool cleanliness is excellent. The bar area and foyer are clean and welcoming, the bar prices are very reasonable. The food was the most surprising part. Busy on Friday, less so on Saturday - the salad buffet was extensive, the hot good (chicken/beef, pasta, potatoes) really tasty. On Sunday it appeared there were only 3 rooms occupied and we ate a fixed 3 course dinner in the e bar area. It was once again very appetising. However the bedroom was less good. There was a working fridge - good and a small wardrobe with hangers. But only one drawer - that did not stay shut. The bedside cabinets have good surface area but are solid so no storage. There is room for a chest of drawers, so it’s strange that it’s not used. In the bathroom the shower pressure was variable from ok to poor, and the attachment for the small shower head was broken/unusable. The sink is a stand alone so little space for stuff; it looks like a shelf was there originally but it’s been broken/removed. There’s a lovely little balcony with a small drying line. The single lift is small. The beach access is great with plenty of parasols and loungers. The parking is right across the road and we got a hotel ticket to show the attendant. Our motorcycles felt safe there. It’s a shame to write the limitations as the hotel really does have potential and we enjoyed our stay (since we didn’t spend that much time in the rooms.).
