Summary: Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there were a few things that could have been improved, and some important details that should have been mentioned on the listing. Let's start with the positive aspects. The highlight of this cabin is undoubtedly the spectacular sunset view. Additionally, the cabin's location was fantastic, as it was conveniently close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Exploring the natural beauty of the area was a breeze. Now, onto the areas that could use some improvement. One thing that struck me immediately upon entering the cabin was the interior decor. While it had a rustic charm, there were numerous out-of-place items that didn't quite fit with the overall aesthetic. It would have been nice to see a more cohesive and thoughtfully curated design, as it would have added to the overall ambiance of the space. However, what disappointed me the most were the things that were not mentioned in the listing. First and foremost, the absence of basic bath supplies like shampoo, conditioner, and soap was an inconvenience. Furthermore, the lack of bath towels and hand towels was quite surprising. I had assumed these would be provided, but unfortunately, they were not. Additionally, while the cabin did include a washer and dryer, I was disappointed to find out that detergent and dryer sheets were not provided. Lastly, the issue of unremoved items left behind by previous guests was unsettling. I hope this serves as constructive feedback for the management.
