A tranquil, updated 3800 square foot chalet with views and sounds of the AuSable River. A perfect starting base to Whiteface Mountain (~20 minutes), Lake Placid (~30 minutes) and the High Peaks region.
This chalet is 3 floors and able to accommodate up to 12 guests perfect for your gathering of family and friends.
The main floor has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds), a private study with queen size pull out couch, full bathroom, mudroom, kitchen, dining area, foyer with wood stove, great room.
The second floor has 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds), and a full bath.
The lower floor has a private media room with a queen size pullout couch, game room with foosball and mini basketball, laundry room and a door leading to the lawn. Disney+ and Netflix will be made available to you to watch while your legs recover from all of the outdoor activities.
Enjoy the Adirondacks with easy access to Whiteface mountain, high peaks and Lake Placid. State park access to the Ausable river is a short 5 minute walk. This home sits across the street from the Au Sable river that allows river views. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, snow shoeing and then come home to cozy up next to a fire in the wood burning fireplace. There is lots of outdoor space with a deck dining area available to seat 6 people. Start a campfire to sit around and have an outdoor barbecue. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware. For families child booster seat and pack and play is available.
We are members of the AuSable Acres Property Owner's Association so you will have access to hiking/cross country skiing/snowshoeing trails in the neighborhood.
