Positive: Beautifully appointed with every facility and thoughtful details like teabags, sugar and fresh milk in fridge provided on arrival. Superb location for scenery, nature, history, friendly people, charming restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. On a convenient bus route to neighbouring towns, with service right to Aberdeen.

Negative: I didn't like the 'smart TV' system requiring account and log-in. I completely failed to get any TV channels for dark evenings or mornings before going out, but did get BBC Sounds (live radio) which was a saving grace.

Summary: Beatifully appointed cottage in splendid location for exploring a delightful part of Scotland by bus
