Welcome to the Whistle Stop Cabin! Relax with your whole family at this timeless New England getaway, located just minutes from Sunday River and downtown Bethel! This destination is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. After you've experienced all that Maine has to offer, enjoy the cathedral ceilings and the genuine wood-burning fireplace in this mountain chalet, then unwind in the hot tub or sauna.
The space
4 Bedrooms, 3 Bath.
(1) Queen master bedroom with full bath en-suite.
(2) Queen bedrooms
(1) Bunk room with (3) Twin XL over Queen bunks.
(3) Full bathrooms. Main living area bathroom does have a tub for families with little ones.
The main floor features a spacious open-concept living area with cathedral ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, a large stone wood-burning fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. Our dining room table comfortably seats eight and can extend to accommodate up to 12 people, with additional seating available at the kitchen island. The full bathroom on the main floor includes a full-size tub, making it convenient for guests with young children.
Just outside the expansive sliding glass doors, you'll find a deck furnished with custom ski Adirondack chairs, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening cocktail.
Upstairs, you'll discover a lovely master suite complete with a full en-suite bathroom and a cozy reading nook that overlooks the entire great room. This space can also serve as an ideal spot for those who need to stay connected and work remotely while enjoying some time in the mountains.
In the basement, you'll find the bunk room featuring three twin XL over queen bunk beds, which connects to our game room that promises to entertain both kids and adults! The full bathroom in the basement features a washer and dryer with detergent, along with ample countertop space for drying or folding all your snow, swimming or hiking gear.
Be sure to take advantage of our unique outdoor space, featuring a hobbit hole sauna and a hot tub equipped with Bluetooth speakers and LED lighting. You can also enjoy our solo stove fire pit in the backyard.
Our home is equipped with Wi-Fi and smart TVs for your convenience.
We provide linens, towels, pillows, and bedding.

You will have access to the entire house and its grounds with the exception of the owners closet which is located in the bunk room in the basement.
There is parking available on-site in the driveway. During snowy months, a four-wheel drive vehicle may be necessary.
