Positive: This property exceeded all our expectations. It was much bigger than anticipated with two very generous bedrooms and huge spacious living areas and kitchen. Having two bathrooms was a particular treat and not something we have come across very often in the area. The apartment was so clean, absolutely spotless on arrival. Co-op supermarket on the next block. Excellent location for exploring the Lakes District (about one hour drive to main attractions) and Hadrian’s Wall (about 25 min drive to Sycamore Gap closest parking). We loved our 3 nights in this apartment would happily recommend it.

Negative: Internal stairs are very steep and lots of them. We were fine but would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful apartment in an excellent location for the Lakes District and Hadrian’s Wall adventures.
