Positive: ​The studio had everything I needed. It was cozy, clean, and the host was very accommodating—letting me check in early and ensuring the apartment was fully stocked with toiletries.
Negative: When I arrived at the property, I rang the bell and was greeted by a female host. Right away, I was caught off guard when she asked if I was a boy or a girl—which was confusing and off-putting, especially given my visible facial hair and goatee. Unfortunately, the microaggressions masked behind polite smiles didn't end there. ​I had decided to rent the vehicle offered with the stay, but when handing over the keys, the host seemed noticeably skeptical which is understood because no deposit wasn't asked i assumed . Later in the day, I brought an old friend back to the room to change and get ready for the night, as he lives further away from where we were meeting other friends. While we were getting ready, there was a knock at the door. My friend opened it, and the host instructed me to park behind a grey car—even though I had literally just parked in a spot that allowed for an easy exit since we were leaving immediately. To be honest, it felt like a thin excuse to pry and see what I was doing in the room; the host felt far too nosy. ​Looking out the window, I saw him standing by the car waiting for seemed like he was waiting for us, which was uncomfortable. When he was giving me parking instructions, he even mentioned that he was "praying for me on the road." ​On top of that nosy behavior , there was a major issue with the amenities. Although the room was clean and cozy, the water pressure was extremely weak and would constantly cut out completely, forcing me to fill up water bottles just to take a shower. I was going to extend my stay but between the water issues and nosy masked homophobia I checked out on time and left. This place has a lot of potential and is aesthetically nice, but management seriously needs to make improvements.
