Experience the pleasure of beachfront living, breathtaking views of the North Carolina coast and the luxuries of North Topsail's most desirable rental community. Come stay in our Family-Friendly, 5 bedroom, 4 bath oceanfront home, which comfortably sleeps 13.
Literally just steps away from the community POOL and the BEACH, you have easy access to both and can watch your kids play from any of your three OCEANFRONT DECKS or from your own PRIVATE HOT TUB. For guests with limited mobility, we have ELEVATOR access to the 1st floor living and sleeping areas. (Elevator only goes up to main level on the first floor)
THIS HOME IS A TOWNHOUSE / DUPLEX. THE POOL IS A VILLAS BY THE SEA COMMUNITY POOL MAINTAINED BY THE HOA. THE POOL IS OPEN APR 1 - OCT 31. IT. IS NOT A HEATED POOL.
Brand new cabinets, sink, appliance and granite countertops. New sectional in living area, new flatscreen TV's throughout. New carpeting and flooring in 2020. Master Bathroom and First floor bathroom were completely renovated in 2018!
Hauling your gear to the first floor is easy using your private ELEVATOR. On the first floor, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM suite (King Bed) with adjoining bath for any guests with limited mobility, and a spacious great room and dining area that comfortably sits 10.
On the second floor, you'll find one room equipped with two twin bunk beds with a twin trundle, a master suite (King Bed) with adjoining private bath and oceanfront deck, and a cheerful bedroom (Queen Bed) with oceanfront deck. The queen and bunk rooms share a bathroom.
The third floor offers the luxurious owner's retreat (King Bed) with an entire floor dedicated to you and yours, with ocean view and a full bath with walk-in shower and a private furnished deck.
WiFi INTERNET ACCESS is available throughout this home. We have a high chair, pack n play, and LOTS of beach / pool toys!
Everything is a short stroll from here - a one-minute walk takes you to the Splash By The Sea restaurant at Villa Capriani and a couple minutes walk will bring you to the SeaView Fishing Pier and restaurant. Just down the street there is the town recreation park which has a playground, lighted tennis courts, volleyball court and basketball courts.
North Shore Country Club, the area's premier 4-star rated golf course is 5 minutes away by car and is one of Golf Digest's 'Best Places to Play' 2008-2009. If you're feeling more adventurous, visit the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington (35 miles south) or the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores (35 miles north). Fresh linens & bath towels are provided by a linen service. A required linen fee applies. Beds are not made prior to arrival. We do not provide beach towels.
We make sure there is toilet paper in each bathroom, and bags in the trash cans to start you off. We provide an amenity starter package with a roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, small bottles of dish soap, hand soap, lotion, etc and coffee packet for one pot. We do not provide enough of these amenities for your entire stay.
There is a seven (7) night minimum for all stays. All rental periods are Saturday to Saturday.
• A signed rental agreement and valid ID are required for all reservations.
• This is a non-smoking house. Smoking is permitted on the decks. Tenants agree to do so responsibly.
• Pets are not permitted on the property. This is a hypoallergenic house in which the owners, who occupy the house part time have severe sensitivities to dogs.
• Events are not permitted on the property.
• Parking is provided for up to four (4) vehicles. No additional parking is provided.
Our Cancellation Policy supersedes the no refund option provided by VRBO and is included on our rental agreement.
Should Tenant have to cancel for any reason, the Tenant must notify the Owner immediately in writing via email. Tenant acknowledges that cancellation by the Tenant does not relieve the Tenant from the specific terms of the Agreement. However, the Owner will make every effort to re-rent the Property for the specified period. If the Property is re-rented for the specified period, advanced rent payments will be refunded to the Tenant less any discounts/expenses required to re-rent and less the Travel Insurance Premium.

Summary: To preface, this was our second stay in this rental…so clearly we enjoyed our first visit. That being said, this visit we noticed a few things that can be improved upon. The biggest being the mattresses- they’re pretty worn down and were uncomfortable for all of the adults (7). Second, the cleaning crew could do a more thorough job- the floors were still pretty dirty in the downstairs living area. They had been swept/vacuumed, but not mopped very well. The first level shower curtain was really dirty, the toilets were pretty gross under the rim, and all of the blinds were really dusty (not great for kids with asthma/allergies in the house when you’re opening and closing these everyday with dust flying). The bedspreads/throw blankets hadn’t been washed in a while (had a stain on our master comforter that was recent and had to wash it ourselves upon arrival), and the throw pillows were dingy and need washing. These are all things that happen with daily wear/tear from a rental, but could use more frequent attention/a refresh. So basically, cleanliness and some small updates are needed. This all being said- there’s a lot more to love about this property…the location, the proximity to the pool, the hot tub, the kitchen is well stocked, there are ample beach chairs available, a grill, great views, beautiful space. The property manager and owner are great, so we trust they will address the things above. It feels like home away from home, and because of that we will return!
